The history of RMTHub creation
The RMTHub story is just getting started, but since this is the first post, I figured I'd share how it all began.
It was almost a year ago, in July 2025. I suddenly found myself without both of my jobs. One company kicked me out (I may have hacked their software a little too enthusiastically 😅), and the other contract simply came to an end. So I suddenly had a lot of free time... and decided to go on a bike trip. 🙃
I thought it'd be fun to build a little project along the way—after all, what else are you gonna do while sitting in a tent at night? I'd had the idea in my head for a long time, so I figured this was the perfect moment.
So I set off from Barcelona to Norway. I was riding 100+ km a day, sleeping wherever I could pitch my tent, and coding for 1–3 hours every day, wherever I happened to be: forests, mountains, fields... honestly, who knows where else. Luckily, mobile internet is surprisingly good around there.

The very first commit. No database, just saving users into a file. 😄
pythondef main(): scraper = FunPayScraper() output_file = scraper.scrape_users() if output_file: logger.info(f"Scraping completed successfully. Results saved to: {output_file}") else: logger.error("Scraping failed!")
I probably wrote this somewhere around here while hiding from the heat in the shade.
Things are a bit more serious now—RMTHub can process thousands of FunPay and G2G users in just a couple of minutes.

After about 5,000 km and riding through 8 countries, I finally made it to Norway... and the first version of RMTHub was ready.

Then one of my buddies flew over, and we climbed Trolltunga.

While we were exploring Norway, he pitched another project idea. Funny enough, we're still working on it today. =)
And here we're crashing a cruise ship to hang out with our other friends who work onboard. 😂
So yeah, RMTHub was literally built in a tent somewhere between Spain and Norway. And if you'd told me back then that a year later thousands of people would be using it, I probably wouldn't have believed you.
But that's a story for another post. 😄
